Geography Books

One 12-week term of Geography can be filled with any of these selections.  Mix and match to suit your family.  We always have large maps of the world and the US on the wall for reference.

Holling C. Holling

Paddle to the Sea (Holling): ~ 3 chapters per week

Tree in the Trail (Holling): ~3 chapters per week

Seabird (Holling): ~3 chapters per week

Minn of the Mississippi (Holling): ~3 chapters per week

A Child’s Geography of the World (Hillyer): This book is out of print and hard to get, but it’s charming and fun to read just like A Child’s History of the World.  Can be used for 2 years at 1 chapter per week.

Books by Demi: These 3 books can be read together over 12 weeks. Beautiful picture books.  They can be expensive; try to buy used or find at the library.
